McCormick Leads UMA Moose Past Roxbury Community College
Addison McCormick was dominant in the circle, as the starter rang up 11 strikeouts in UMA Moose's 13-1 victory over Roxbury Community College on Sunday. Addison McCormick allowed two hits and one run over five innings while walking three.
UMA Moose jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after a dropped third strike scored one run, Addison McCormick singled, scoring two runs, and Shannah Parsons doubled, scoring two runs.
A ground out by Natalie Gilman, a single by Audrey Nile, and a double by Aubrey Peer helped UMA Moose extend their early lead in the second.
UMA Moose added two runs in the third after Audrey Nile doubled to center field.
#9 took the loss for Roxbury Community College. The starting pitcher went five innings, surrendering 13 runs on 12 hits, striking out eight and walking six.

Gilman Puts On Strong Contact Performance As UMA Moose Take The Win Over Roxbury Community College
Natalie Gilman collected three hits in four at bats, as UMA Moose defeated Roxbury Community College 16-1 on Sunday. Natalie Gilman singled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.
UMA Moose jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Addison McCormick tripled, scoring one run, Sam Withee singled, scoring one run, Shannah Parsons tripled, scoring one run, Kassidy Barrett singled, scoring one run, Aubrey Peer drew a walk, scoring one run, Arabel Linkletter singled, scoring one run, and Annabelle Morris singled, scoring two runs.
A single by Aubrey Peer extended the UMA Moose lead to 9-0 in the top of the second inning.
A double by Addison McCormick extended the UMA Moose lead to 10-1 in the top of the third inning.
