The UMaine Augusta Moose Men's Basketball capped off a memorable season with an impressive 80–73 victory over the Kent State Tuscarawas March 5 at the USCAA Men's Basketball National Championships in Buffalo, NY.

The UMaine Augusta Moose Men's Basketball capped off a memorable season with an impressive 80–73 victory over the Kent State Tuscarawas on March 5 at the USCAA Men's Basketball National Championships in Buffalo, NY.
With the win, the Moose concluded the national tournament with a 2–1 record and finished the 2025–2026 season at 21–14, solidifying what many consider one of the most historic seasons in program history.
Rocco Chang (#4) delivered a strong performance with 15 points, knocking down five three-pointers and adding three assists and two steals.
Khalif Bettis (#35) matched Chang's scoring output with 15 points, while also grabbing eight rebounds and providing an interior presence throughout the game.
Daniel Tewogbode (#22) contributed 12 points, eight rebounds, four steals, and three assists, making his impact felt across the stat sheet.
Donte Sharp (#24) added 11 points and five assists, helping orchestrate the Moose offense.
Off the bench, Kobe Edwards (#10) provided a spark with nine points on 4-of-5 shooting, while Santana Noel (#0) contributed six points, four assists, and two blocks.
Team Effort Seals the Win
Kent State Tuscarawas fought hard in the second half, led by Garrett Sprutte's 18 points and Jaxon Robb's 14-point, 10-rebound double-double, but the Moose maintained their composure down the stretch.
UMaine Augusta finished with 21 assists and 15 steals, showcasing their defensive intensity and unselfish offense. The Moose also matched Kent State Tuscarawas on the boards with 46 rebounds.

The victory marked the final chapter of a remarkable season for the Moose. Through hard work, resilience, and teamwork, this group brought UMaine Augusta back to the national stage and left a lasting mark on the program.
