Acheson named YSCC Runner of the week

Augusta, MAINE - Freshman runner Jocelyn Acheson (North Waterboro, Maine) is the Yankee Small College Conference Runner of the week. Acheson had an outstanding performance in her first collegiate cross country meet at Vermont Tech, finishing third overall out of 36 runners with a time of 22:37, just thirty seconds off of the winning time. Acheson's performance netted her a first place finish for the Moose, as well as the first place spot among the Yankee Small College Conference schools in participation.
Acheson is enrolled in the Dental Hygeine program at the UMA Bangor campus.
