UMaine Augusta travel to take on Emerson College in a tough loss 0-7

The UMaine Augusta Women's tennis team traveled to Regis College to take on Emerson College women's tennis team. With the three doubles matches taking the courts first, Emerson College got off to a quick lead in the doubles matches winning all three of them to take the 1st point of the match. At No.3 doubles, Molly Woodfor and Isabelle Greenleaf, although losing 2-6, had many chances in duce games to try and make it a more competitive set. 

 

Going into the singles matches, once again Emerson came out strong and won at the No.1, 3, and 5 spots first. In the No. 2 singles position, Hayden Hoague (UMA) battled hard against Abby Miner (Emerson) pushing her to long games but ultimately losing the 2nd set 3-6.  At the No. 4 singles spot, Lexis Bayne (UMA) was the last to finish as she went to a long 1st set tiebreak, but ultimately lost 6-7 (5-7) to drop the match which gave Emerson the 7-0 win against the Moose.
