UMA defeats SMCC in conference play

AUGUSTA, Maine - The University of Maine at Augusta women's soccer game won their second conference game in a row as they defeated Southern Maine Community College 3-1 today in YSCC play. Jenn Lola (Monmouth, Maine) scored two goals within five minutes of each other to help the Moose secure the win. Senior Alyssa Betts (Kents Hill, Maine) notched the assist on Lola's second goal. 

Senior Elora Hixon (Richmond, Maine) recorded three points on the afternoon, including the first goal of her four year career, finding the back of the net on a header from teammate Crystal Chadwick (Searsmont, Maine).

Senior Danielle White (Corinna, Maine) recorded eight saves in goal for the Moose, who next host Eastern Maine Community College in conference play.
