MACHIAS, MAINE – The UMA women's basketball team traveled to Machias to face the Clippers who stand 10-3 in the Yankee Small College Conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Moose struggled with shooting again Machias when they faced them earlier in the season and had issues again during the Thursday night game in Machias. The Clippers held the Moose to 16% from behind the arch and 23.8% from the field. The Clippers outshot the Moose from the free throw line 88% to 25%.

The Moose were out rebounded (40-34). The Clippers controlled the game from the very start and would go on to win 82-38.

  • Sidney Moore led the Moose in scoring with 16 points and 4 rebounds
