Plamondon Puts On Strong Contact Performance As UMA Moose Take The Win Over NHTI Lynx
Jacob Plamondon collected three hits in four at bats, as UMA Moose defeated NHTI Lynx 7-1 on Tuesday. Jacob Plamondon doubled in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning.
UMA Moose opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three singles. UMA Moose first got on the board when Cash Bizier singled, scoring one run.
UMA Moose added one run in the third after Gage McGrane grounded out.
Hayden Chase earned the win for UMA Moose. The righty gave up five hits and one run over seven and one-third innings, striking out six and walking three. Graf took the loss for NHTI Lynx. The starter went four and one-third innings, allowing seven runs (four earned) on eight hits, striking out two and walking two. Tom Gust threw one and two-thirds innings of zero-run ball for UMA Moose in relief. The pitcher surrendered one hit, striking out none and walking one.
Cash Bizier collected two hits for UMA Moose in three at bats. Jacob Plamondon stole two bases. UMA Moose ran wild on the base paths, collecting three stolen bases for the game. UMA Moose turned two double plays in the game.
Mackenzie led NHTI Lynx with one run batted in. The shortstop went 2-for-4 on the day.
