Player Spotlight: Kori Coro

Coming in at 5’4, Kori Coro brings scrappy, energetic, and in your face defense as well as three-point range to the Lady Moose.  She is very enthusiastic about everything that she does.  Coro is very strong, quick, and extremely athletic.  She will definitely make her name known defensively.  “Kori has this wonderful enthusiasm about her,” boasts Head Coach Jennifer Laney.   “She has made such a wonderful impact here at UMA already and the season has just begun.”   Look for Kori Coro this year on the court for the Lady Moose!

Interesting fact about Kori: Kori has a pet snake!

Favorite Class at UMA: Kori is most looking forward to her biology class second semester.   She really enjoys science!

What she likes most about UMA: “I love the people here at UMA, they make me feel at home.”

Kori’s Mentor:  “My dad is my mentor in life. He has taught me everything I need to know about hunting and the sports I play. Without him teaching me about sports I most likely wouldn't be playing basketball here at UMA. He spiked my athleticism, which lead me to a basketball team.  Being a part of this team at UMA is like having another family.  I am also able to pursue education toward a career that I am going to work hard for. Without my dad I don't know where I would be.”
