Player Spotlight: Caleb McGuire

Caleb McGuire

Caleb McGuire begins his second season with the Moose and will continue to make an impact.  McGuire had an extremely successful first season with the Moose.  McGuire put up 254 points on the season and grabbed 131 rebounds.  He finished the season with a 43.8 shooting percentage.  He looks to add another big season under his belt this year.  "Caleb is ready to explode from his freshman year experience being the man in the middle for the Moose,” says Head Coach Jim Ford. “His ability to go above the rim and step out to the three point arch will excel his contributions in a sophomore season of success."

Interesting fact about Caleb: He enjoys buying, swapping, and selling items on craigslist.

Favorite Class at UMA: Caleb’s favorite class so far has been 'Intro to Sociology' with James Cook.

What he likes most about UMA: “I love the basketball program, I like how nice everyone is, and the atmosphere UMA has.”

Caleb’s Mentor:  “My mentor is my father because he has taught me about good work ethic and how to be a man.”
