Cross Country @ Colby College
WATERVILLE, ME—Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled a short distance to Waterville, ME this past weekend to take part in the Colby College Invitational. UMA took on Colby, Thomas, Presque Isle, Husson, Unity, University of Maine at Machias, and Maine Maritime Academy.
It was Tali Amero (Windham, ME) who took first for the Lady Moose with a time of 26:42 (a personal record). Newcomer Salena Sawtell came in second for the Moose running the race in 27:27. Allie Floyd (Auburn, ME) ran a 29:13 to finish out for the Lady Moose.
On the men’s side it was Anthony Guimond running in the Colby Invitational. He finished the 8K in 45:34, just shy of his season best.
The cross country team travels to Concord, NH this coming weekend to take on NHTI. GO MOOSE!
