Carmen Bragg will be joining the Lady Moose family, looking to ignite yet another successful season. At point guard, Bragg will make an instant impact as not only a play maker but also a scoring threat as well. This helps to supply Coach Laney with an instant “go to” player. “Carmen is a ray of light for this Lady Moose team,” boasts Coach Jennifer Laney. “She has great positive energy about her and an incredible work ethic both on and off the court.” Stay tuned to watch Carmen Bragg and the Lady Moose embark on another memorable season.

Interesting fact about Carmen: In her free time Carmen likes to make crafts and sew.

The class Carmen is looking forward to the most her first semester at UMA: “I really enjoy science, so I'd have to say my biology classes and labs are what I'm looking forward to the most, but I am also intrigued by what I will be learning in psychology, gaining skills on how to better understand people.”

What she likes most about UMA: “Small campus which allows me to make many personal relationships with classmates, teachers, and teammates. Everyone is so positive, helpful and friendly:) classes aren't enormous and I can get the most out of my learning.”

Carmen’s mentor: “I have many mentors in my life that support and guide me, so I can't give credit to just one of them. My parents are my main mentors, preparing me for the responsibilities ahead and giving me EVERYTHING. I will never be able to repay them. My grandparents spoil me to death and always show their constant love and support. I have always looked up to my brother for the example that he sets and advice that he gives. I am so loved!”
