    Coach Gilpatrick takes on HURT 100 AUGUSTA, ME-- Brendan Gilpatrick joined the Moose family in November of 2016 as the Staff Associate for Fitness and Athletics & Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach.     Moose trample Terriers, 64-49 WATERVILLE, ME – The UMA women’s basketball team traveled to Thomas College to face the DIII Terriers who stood at 4-3 going into the competition.  After controlling the play for most of the game the Moose walked away with a win that pushes them over .500 to 6-5 (3-2 YSCC).

    Seawolves edge out victory against Moose 77-74 AUGUSTA, ME—The UMA Men’s basketball team took on 8-1 Southern Maine Community College for the first time this season at the Augusta Civic Center. The Seawolves opened the game with a 6-0 run until Jordan Holmes drained his first 3 of the night leading to a back and forth throughout the first half of play.

    Moose fall short to Lynx CONCORD, NH—The Moose tipped off against YSCC Conference opponent NHTI on Sunday, November 20th for the Championship game of the NHTI Hogan Camps Thanksgiving Tournament. A strong first half showing from Dustin Simpson-Bragg and Jordon Holmes were not enough to fend off the Lynx who outscored the Moose 61-43 in the first half.

    Moose Prevail Against Wyverns CONCORD, NH—In the first out of conference match-up for the Moose, the team traveled to NHTI for the Hogan Camps Thanksgiving Tournament where they matched up against Quinsigamond Community College. The Moose were sparked by early scoring from Dustin Simpson-Bragg who dropped in 10 of his 24 points in the first half.

The match was played on UMA’s home course, Tomahawk, at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro, ME.

    UMA Cross Country Excels at Unity Meet UNITY, ME—The men’s cross country team traveled to Unity College for their second meet of the season on Saturday, September 24th. Saturday marked one of the first true, crisp fall days, which made the experience of running the nature trails at Unity even more thrilling. Adam Bohlen finished first for the UMA men with a time of 44:09, serving as a PR for his collegiate career.
